Morgan Effrein

Research Analyst

Morgan Effrein is a Research Analyst at WestWater Research based in Fort Collins, Colorado. She is responsible for leading research on water rights transactions in Colorado and assisting with valuation projects, water due diligence research, and water supply planning.

Morgan earned her bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University (CSU) in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics, with minors in Sustainable Watershed Management and Global Environmental Sustainability. While studying at CSU, she supervised a team of five undergraduates as a research assistant for the Agriculture Water Quality Program. Her research included projects on edge-of-field monitoring, conservation tillage, soil health, alfalfa crediting, filter strip studies, and installing low-cost technology for environmental monitoring.

Morgan enjoys participating in the local community through volunteer opportunities and spending time in the mountains.
