Grant Zimmerman

Research Associate

Grant Zimmerman is a Research Associate in the Rocky Mountain office of WestWater Research located in Fort Collins, Colorado. His responsibilities include water market analysis, economic and financial modeling, and transaction research.

Grant attended Montana State University where he graduated with honors with a B.S. in Economics, a B.A in Political Science and four minors including three focusing on business.  For his graduate work, Grant attended Oregon State University and will receive an MS in Applied Economics with a graduate minor in Water Resource Policy and Management in 2018.  Grant’s thesis focused on using econometric methods to value water in Deschutes County, Oregon.  Grant has also done academic work that included a cost-benefit analysis of advanced technologies for the Oregon Department of Transportation, a socio-economic analysis of how demographic trends will affect Montana’s county governments in the future, and an analysis of how coal-bed methane production in Wyoming affected farm production along the Tongue River in Montana.
